Well, the problem is the information for the older releases, which I
also find interesting to have around somewhere, and since there won't
be more releases from the old branches then we can't really stick the
information in the hardware notes for those cases.
I think it's fine to add RAM requirement to current release notes, if
somebody in the futire makes sure it's actually still correct...
