Is it possible that the drive needs more time to load the media after I
issue the 'mtx next' command? I'll try 'mtx next;sleep 10' and see if this
helps.
Also, should I be using /dev/st0 or /dev/nst0?

I will enable this and recompile the kernel, but I probably won't have a
chance to reboot for a few days.
