acpi_ibm does not support currently the features on newer lenovo
laptops.  It seem the api has changed a bit recently.

Linux has an acpi_thinkpad module that supports the newer laptops
but porting it is propably not so straightforward.

I have a T420s myself and am happy to have the intel video working.
Brightness control and GPU power savings are the most pressing
parts still missing.  But at least I don't have have to use the
Vesa driver ;)
