N-only access point on FreeBSD 11

Hi, I'm trying to configure an ATH3980 as a wireless access point.
I would like it to operate in N-only mode, but for some reason I can only
make it work with GN.
Any advice as to how I can make this work would be very helpful.

Here is the relevant section of /etc/rc.conf
