IBM ServeRAID 5i on IBM xSeries 225 + HP surestore dat 40

Hi.

I have problem with HP surestore dat 40 tape.

I have installed FreeBSD 5.2 on IBM xSeries 225 machine. I have 3 disks on channel 1.
I have created two logical drives of type raid 5 from them.
It works fine.

But I have also tape, but it is not recognized by kernel.
Tape is on channel 2.

When I boot from linux (for example knoppix) tape is recognized
by kernel.

I have noticed that people had some problems with ServeRAID
because it is new in FreeBSD and exists only in 5.x.

Is it possible that FreeBSD driver does not recognize tape, or device
that is on channel 2 ?

ArkaD.
