It looks like the man page and lack of sleep made this a
disaster... I've changed things around :
FREEBSD:
ifconfig wi0 192.168.3.21 netmask 255.255.255.0 up
ifconfig gre0 unplumb
ifconfig gre0 create
ifconfig gre0 192.168.4.1 192.168.4.2 netmask 0xffffff00 link0 up
ifconfig gre0 tunnel 192.168.3.21 192.168.3.149
Cisco:
interface Tunnel0
ip address 192.168.4.2 255.255.255.0
tunnel source Ethernet0
tunnel destination 192.168.3.21
!
interface Ethernet0
ip address 192.168.3.149 255.255.255.0
But still can't ping 192.168.4.2 .
