I haven't tried other OSes on this machine, I think I should do it.

I am plugging the peripherals directly into the back port of the Mac.
The generic PC keyboard and mouse refused to work, but Apple's keyboard
works just fine. Also if I plug in other external drives (besides the one
I'm booting from), it doesn't seem to be detected too.

I plan to eventually run X on this machine, so issues like that is
somewhat important for me.
