I'm unable to build databases/db6:

root at d-build-fbsd12:/usr/ports/databases/db6 # ls {,/usr/local}/etc/make*
ls: No match.

root at d-build-fbsd12:/usr/ports/databases/db6 # make showconfig

     CRYPTO=on: Cryptography support
     DEBUG=off: Build with debugging support
     DOCS=off: Build and/or install documentation
