	I'just tried using VCR's RCA<->RCA cable I had lying around.
They are good grade custom made. Image improvement was not noticeable :(

	Is there anything I can do to improve that? Perhaps, a
harder filter looking for those? I fear that such harder filtering
will just decrease performance; thus, increasing the choking effect.

	Bear in mind that I do not mind 100% CPU occupancy for as
long as, I can get good quality TV capture with good audio. :)

	Well, if you think it is worth it. I'll order tomorrow
custom made 3 ways shielded cabling with "gold" platet male RCA
connectors. 1 for video and 2 for stereo audio (L/R).

	I am still having choking effetcs and, despite, the improvement that I can now record with audigy2;
I have no idea how to tell mplayer to use the proper device :)

	I tried using adevice but it complained hardly

- My standard capture liness
o high		mplayer -tv driver=bsdbt848:noaudio:width=640:height=480:input=0:norm=ntsc tv:// -vf hqdn3d,filmdint -cache 524288
o performance	mplayer -tv driver=bsdbt848:noaudio:width=640:height=480:input=0:norm=ntsc tv:// -vf denoise3d,lavcdeint -cache 524288
o low perf	mplayer -tv driver=bsdbt848:noaudio:width=640:height=480:input=0:norm=ntsc tv:// -vf pp=hb/vb/dr/al/lb -cache 524288

	I have a sample video using the following options. Let me
know what you think. In case you wonder about copyright issues.
It's just part of the "you should buy SKY cable, their informercial
channel" and it's a 10 secs sample... shouldn't be an issue. If
it is, let me know ASAP so that I can remove it. I am not trying
to break any laws. I am just trying to exercise fair use for testing
purposes of VISUALLY an unidentifiable source.

$ mencoder -tv driver=bsdbt848:noaudio:width=640:height=480:iinput=0:norm=ntsc tv:// \
	-vf hqdn3d -cache 131072 -o output.avi
	-ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg4

http://people.FreeBSD.org/~lioux/output.avi
MD5 (output.avi) = 2ee60e371cb49d386253207a6ad4e949

	Any help appreciated.

	Regards,
