Um, you got me. The kernel the x86 OS comes with (FreeBSD

Is any card seen when plugged into the card slot?


How do I check this? No lights ("Link" or "Active") come on when  i insert
the card and do the "ifconfig dance"

This is just a shot in the dark, but is device wlan in the kernel?
