ACPI and wi (Danger Will Robinson!)

I've also had some strnage acpi + wi weirdness.
I enabled acpi and then let it suspend while my lucent card was 
inserted. Upon wakeing from the acpi slumber my lucent card was non 
functional. It was blown, or somehow the acpi did something to the card 
that made it brain dead from that momment forward. I'm not sure if these 
two issues are releated, but it was the first time somebody else remotly 
had anything similare. Lucky for me I have wifi cards to spare, and acpi 
is disabled now. =)
