Nothing. Just from my gut it feels
that it's more complicated, than the ssh thingy
(at least from my point of view, it would be a little
bit more complicated).

Also, just like you cannot use the ssh methods, other
people might not be allowed to pipe emails to arbitrary
processes (something quite common, as it seems to me),
and even an admin of an ftp-server might not be the postmaster
of the site and may have to follow other policies in
these terms. So it might not be that advantageous...

Anyway, I could probably set up email processing, so if this
will be concensus, I have no problem with that.
