INTROSPECTION_GIRDIR if I didn't write it down the first time.
Apologies if I am repeating myself.

In Makefile I added INTROSPECTION_GIRDIR=/usr/local/share/gir-1.0 to
CONFIGURE_ENV= . References were reading the configure file in
work/gtk+-3.0.8 and the FreeBSD porter's handbook. The package and proper
library paths were created. The patch did not work for sparc64 nor did using
configure flags in work/gtk+-3.0.8- along with gmake && gmake install to
prevent patch reversal- create a proper package.
