Is GNOME 2.7/2.8 stable to you?

I've got /dev/dsp*. And sound is working. gstreamer, nautilus-media and
gnomemedia all not working for me.

I managed to crash nautilus, and there are references to
libpthread.so.1, seems familiar. I will have full bt with symbols
shortly.
