            Bug ID: 207105
Summary: The manual page for pkg(8) should document more uses
of flag -f (e.g. for force)
           Product: Documentation
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Many People
          Priority: ---
         Component: Documentation
          Assignee: freebsd-doc at FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: grahamperrin at gmail.com

At https://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=pkg&sektion=8 for FreeBSD 10.2 the
only documented use of -f is as a flag for the bootstrap command.

Please add to the man page other known uses of

-f

I'm aware of at least the following:

pkg update -f

pkg upgrade -f

----

A question about upgrade -f was asked in irc://chat.freenode.net/#pcbsd a
couple of days ago.

Other discussions that question or exemplify uses of -f include
