>Description:
After installing FreeBSD configuring ataraid, array seems to be working fine, but cannot addspare or rebuild anything in case of failure.
>How-To-Repeat:
Array created using "atacontrol create RAID1 ad4 ad6" and then installed normally on /dev/ar0.

Make sure ataraid is loaded in memory:
# kldload ataraid
kldload: can't load ataraid: File exists

Make sure array is ok:
# atacontrol status ar0
ar0: ATA RAID1 subdisks: ad4 ad6 status: READY

Try to addspare or rebuild the array will fail:
# atacontrol rebuild ar0
atacontrol: ioctl(IOCATARAIDREBUILD): Device not configured

# atacontrol detach ata2
# atacontrol attach ata2
Master: ad4 <SAMSUNG SP2004C/VM100-41> Serial ATA II
Slave: no device present
# atacontrol addspare ar0 ad4
atacontrol: ioctl(IOCATARAIDADDSPARE): Device not configured
