IBM PC server 704 + aic7xxx on Linux?

Hello Everyone,
Weren't there people on this list using IBM PC Server's model 704
(it's an SMP box with up to 4 PPro's on it and EISA/PCI slots) who were
using it with Linux and aic7xxx adapters? I'm probably getting one of
these boxes but I need to figure out if they run Linux before monday
evening. :( Anyone know how stable Linux runs on these boxes? AFAIK they
run NT 3.51/4.0, OS/2, Netware and maybe BSDI..
