SMP and the aic7xxx driver

I don't know why this happens, but it happened to me as well.  I
resolved it by rearranging the cards on my PCI bus.  This shifted the
IRQ's around "just enough" that 2.1.X's IO-APIC code worked again.
Interestingly, the arrangement that failed under 2.1.x worked under
2.0.x.  However, the arrangement that worked under 2.1.x ALSO worked
under 2.0.x.

Black magic.... but give it a try.
