I used to get the same error message with my AHA-2940UW, but only when I
turned on the ultra scsi drive. I never had any problems when only the
scsi 2 devices were on. in the Linux 2.0.32 kernel the only thing I've
noticed with the ultra scsi drive on is the error message changed.
Has anyone gotten an ultra scsi drive to work with linux? I know ultra
wide devices work fine.
