Subject: slight problem?
Hi, I have a problem, when ever I try to access my cdrom it hangs for a
few seconds, not just what im doing, but everything stops, and not just
once everytime i try to use it, for example, I mount the drive, it hangs,
then i can use the drive no problem, if I umount it then try to play a
music cd, it hangs now heres where it gets funky :) if I try to forward to
another track it hangs again. ditto for reversing tracks, ejecting, and
pause. I took a look at the README.aic7xxx and it mentioned somthing about
waiting on resets, is this it? I've included a cat of the proc "file", and
some stuff logged to kernel.log when the cdrom is in use
heres /proc/scsi/aic7xxx/0:
