Thank you Christoph and others, it do not work for me. A few months ago I got this printer to work with the device Uri: ipp://name_or_ip_address:60000/ipp/print but now it doesn't work anymore. As far as I know the command "lpinfo -v" is unique for cups and normally shows the correct Uri. But today there were only the the HP Uri!!! and nothing more. I look tomorrow. OK Thanks all Manfred On 24.10.24 18:16, Christoph Brinkhaus wrote: > Hallo Manfred, > Am Thu, Oct 24, 2024 at 05:01:37PM +0200 schrieb Manfred Koch: >> Hello and thanks, >> >> ippprint says ipp://hostname:60000/ipp/print as connection >> >> lpstat -t ipp://localhost:60000/ipp/print or with >> ipp://hostname:60000/ipp/print >> >> The command "lpinfo -v" never shows a connection ipp printer!!! >> >> the printer is HP ENVY 5540, I tested the following connections: >> ipp://localhost:60000/ipp/print >> ipp://hostname:631/printers/printername >> ipp://hostname:631/ipp/print >> ipp://hostname:60000/ipp/print >> > I own an HP ENVY 5000 series printer. > It works with the IP-adress in printer.conf as > > Info envy5032 > Location heim > MakeModel HP Envy 5000 Series, hpcups 3.22.10 > DeviceURI ipp://192.168.0.70:631 > > In my setup cups listens at 127.0.0.1:631. > The printer jobs are forwarded to ipp://192.168.0.70:631. > I have done the configuration using the web interface of cups. > > [...] > > Kind regards, > Christoph
