Re: Taking over net/ndisc6, or adding it to src?

The way to do this:

- create a patch to update it to 1.0.8
- set yourself as maintainer with that patch
- submit the patch via bugs.freebsd.org
- Post the PR link here

Why would it be needed in src instead of ports ?
