            Bug ID: 281862
           Summary: signal-desktop: can't pair with phone
           Product: Ports & Packages
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: amd64
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---
         Component: Individual Port(s)
          Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: duncan@bayne.id.au

Hi,

First up, thanks for the signal-desktop port ♥ It's been a major factor in my
returning to FreeBSD as a daily driver.

However, signal-desktop now won't link to my phone. I follow the normal
linking process, then receive the following message:

"Something went wrong!

Update Signal on this device to link your phone."

In the console I see:

{"level":40,"time":"2024-10-05T04:53:48.556Z","msg":"MainSQL: Database log
code=17: statement aborts at 13: [\n      SELECT *\n      FROM items\n
WHERE id = $id;] database schema has changed"}
{"level":40,"time":"2024-10-05T04:53:48.556Z","msg":"MainSQL: Database log
code=17: statement aborts at 11: [SELECT * FROM senderKeys] database schema has
changed"}

I've installed signal via pkg.

Versions of things:

* FreeBSD 14.1-RELEASE-p4
* Signal 7.13.0

I'm very happy to help with testing debug builds etc. if that would help.
