Hi Duncan,
I installed Signal 7.13.0 on 14.1-RELEASE-p3 via pkg and the result is the same
as yours.
v7.27.0 is the latest Signal release, just 2 days old.
An update of the FreBSD Signal port is likely to solve this issue.
