If this is the purpose, you really should not be building ports on live systems individually. Port builds generally assume a clean/controlled environment like poudriere jails. In fact, when using poudriere properly, you can build ports once per upgrade then configure each system to use the generated repository. > The libraries are not only used for desktop implimentations. Yes, I also use this in headless environments and still don't run into this problem. You were told in bug 271433 in no uncertain terms that partial upgrades are not supported. You need to keep the *entire* ports tree synced and consistent. Back to this port specifically, you still have not provided the meson-log.txt to allow any further diagnosis.
