I have no idea. Inclusion of hidbus and hkbd in GENERIC config in june of 2024
is the only related commit known to me in this year.

You may try to include all iichid, hidbus, hms and hkbd into kernel config or
preload them via /boot/loader.conf to have module configuration similar to
resume  one.

Or do git bisect if you have last known good commit.
