Inclusion of hidbus and hkbd in GENERIC config in june of 2= 024 is the only related commit known to me in this year. You may try to include all iichid, hidbus, hms and hkbd into kernel config = or preload them via /boot/loader.conf to have module configuration similar to resume one.
