[Bug 280597] bootloader does not load OS when screen resolution is 5k or higher

- A 3rd party in discord attempted to load freebsd in QEMU with 8k resolution
and was able to replicate the behavior. I don't know the options they used.

- I sent you a video to determine how to answer your question regarding whether
it's handed off. It's unclear.
