I've shared more details in PR 267104 about it. Why are you making changes proactively for potential future improvements? Doesn't it make more sense to make such changes after these improvements are implemented, so that there is no loss of functionality in the meantime? Future improvements can take a very long time to land, and loss of functionality is immediate. Yuri
