I've added the ACL 0.5.1 distribution to the TrustedBSD website:

  http://www.TrustedBSD.org/downloads/acl-0.5.1.tgz

It updates the kernel patch to -CURRENT from this afternoon fixing compile
problems and allowing for recent extended attribute fixes I committed to
the base tree. It also includes library improvements submitted by Brian
Feldman and Chris D. Faulhaber, as well as a setfacl implementation from
Chris. At this point what I'm looking for is real-world testing of the
facility before I start committing more of the ACL code to the base system
for inclusion in 5.0-RELEASE, and for porting to Darwin.

Changes slated for the next ACL release include updating of {cp,ls,mv} and
other utilities to make them understand ACL preservation and reporting, as
well as possible thread safety fixes for acl_{to,from}_text().

For those working with extended attributes, the recent fixes correct
problems with extended attribute removal on file deletion, and remove some
of the spurious EA (but harmless) inconsistencies that could result from
the bug.

Thanks to both Brian and Chris for their testing and assistance.
