Folks,

Robert Watson has kindly offered to bring us up-to-speed on TrustedBSD
<URL:http://www.trustedbsd.org/> and discuss recent and ongoing
security issues with FreeBSD. He is interested in getting feedback,
especially in the area of ideas for improving the development process
to help reduce the opportunity for these problems. It should be an
interesting presentation and discussion.

If time permits, I am still going to try to get some ideas for the
design of my FreeBSD-based stereo appliance.

I am including the meeting information again for the benefit of the
folks on the trustedbsd-discuss list who may want to attend.

FUG-WashDC is the Washington DC chapter of the FreeBSD Users' Group.
We meet monthly on the first Thursday of the month.

The October FUG-WashDC meeting will be 5 Oct. 2000, 7:00PM until
    9:00PM EDT at:

George Mason University Main Campus, Fairfax, VA
Johnson Center, third floor, Meeting Room C

Park in the "Visitor" parking garage (upper levels are a shorter walk)

For those of you who haven't been to the GMU campus, there are lots of
signs on campus directing you to the parking garage and a map of the
campus can be found at <URL:http://www.gmu.edu/>.

Hope to see you there!
