Hmm. I couldn't find anything about that in the docs of the systems
i have access to. Maybe it simply was not installed on those?

I guess you will need both. Why? Because of the installed NFS v2/v3
base (especially Suns) and often you can not upgrade those systems but
you really would like to be able to use ACL's.
