Something might be fishy here. After updating from the previous version,
loading the kernel modules fails:
  kernel: link_elf_obj: symbol nvidia_driver_name undefined
  kernel: KLD file nvidia.ko - could not finalize loading
  kernel: KLD file nvidia-modeset.ko - cannot find dependency "nvidia"

That's when loading the modules (nvidia and nvidia-modeset) from
loader.conf (config did not change since the 440 version); loading
with kldload fails with similar messages.
Machine is 12.2, amd64; package built in poudriere.
