Hi!
The naming scheme isn't perfect, but the general idea is that you 
install drm-kmod and don't have to care too much about it.
In this specific instance, a rename was discussed as part of 
https://reviews.freebsd.org/D21974 , but ruled out.  See the comment 
here: https://reviews.freebsd.org/D21974#480339 .
