| the desire to get notified whenever a policy is updated? Just to avoid

Well, ports-announce@ should exist, but it's a bit like ports-commiters@
people will always complain that they've never seen the email, and have not
been told in person...
The changes I did were just garbage collecting old things, getting bits
up-to-date with what the current policies have been for quite some time,
things like that.
