Original submitter, can you verify that you have the sources for FreeBSD 12.2
in /usr/src, and then rebuild drm-fbsd12.0-kmod locally and try again?

Since it fixes the problem for other people with the same issue, I'd like you
to verify that you actually have the 12.2 sources in /usr/src before rebuilding
the driver.
