xman error

Works for me.  Click on Manual Page in the small window and then
Sections in the upper left of the big window.  You can choose the man
page section of interest in the dropdown menu.  A list of all
available man pages in that section will be shown.

Also, to make sure that the manpages are indexed, you can run
/etc/periodic/weekly/320.whatis as root by hand.
