libffi error building graphics/wayland (not found)

I was able to burst through this error, by the way, and have a new error instead involving GLib from HBSD's ports tree. For context I also have NetBSD's pkgsrc on my system, and GLib 2.56.3's configure script seems to be erroneously picking up on libraries from the pkgsrc LOCALBASE (which on my system is /Packages/netbsd), creating an "undefined reference to locale_charset" issue in gio-querymodules.
