Hi,

I've run the script on one of the machines and applied the suggested things
until it finished saying it should be okay now but to no avail.

In the end I had to downgrade the packages again to have a working X. :-(

As a side note: I applied the script on a laptop with Intel chipset graphics
which ran totally fine with the updated xorg server. But after I applied the
hints suggested from the script the touchpad stopped working. ;-)
