No devices detected when running startx

Ok, simply placing the module_path specification into my /boot/loader.conf
file didn't work. The /boot/kernel versions of drm and i915kms were what was
loaded. Howerver placing this in my rc.conf file:
kld_list="/boot/modules/drm.ko /boot/modules/i915kms.ko"
did work so I'm back up with X again...thanks!
