I wound up uninstalling all of the packages (except pkg) and then reinstalled them
from the http://www.bsddesktop.com/images/120amd64-ports-graphics-xserver-mesa-next/
repo. I haven't had a chance to try X again yet (I'm at work, it's at home). But
one thing I noticed is that the above repo doesn't appear to contain the ctwm
window manager (which I've been using since about 1995 and am reluctant to change).
Can I simply go into the /usr/ports/x11-wm/ctwm directory and do a 'make install'?
Or could this mess things up?
Thanks
Bob
