Did you try with MULTITOUCH=off (default)? evdev(4x) seems to misdetect
multitouch support unlike wacom(4x), see bug 196978 comment 7 [1]. 2.10.x made
MULTITOUCH=on mandatory, so I'm holding off on update to contact upstream but
so far ENOTIME.
