Hi

Yes, this workaround enables me to run glxgears as normal.

I also tried glxgears_fbconfig but the background is black, not transparent
as expected. I am running compton. Maybe this functionality is not
implemented yet?

I also have a 2013 MacBook Air with haswell HD5000 GPU. Will this patch
also make it work in that machine? If so, I can test it tomorrow.
