Right, but $bus seems to be something unrelated.
Interestingly, you can actually find the correct usbus like this:

    $ sysctl -n dev.uhid.0.%parent
    uhub0
    $ sysctl -n dev.uhub.0.%parent
    usbus3

If no better solution will turn out, I'll use this.
