i915 hw context failure report

Hi

I tried the new patch
https://people.freebsd.org/~dumbbell/graphics/drm-i915-hw-context.5.patch
but it doesn't work so well for me.

I follow instructions and did the following.

Checkout experimental port tree
Merge with recent port tree downloaded with portsnap
Uninstall related old packages
Add WITH_NEW_XORG=yes and WITH_NEW_MESA=yes to /etc/make.conf
Rebuild and install recommended ports (some of them would install properly
so I had to copy work/stage manually)
Run glxinfo - got error as expected
Patched 20140903 kernel source with patch above, build and installed.

Result
kldload i915kms in vt works fine.
startx with openbox wm works fine.
However when I do anything GL related (start compton, glxinfo, glxgears,
etc) it crashes hard, screen turns black and I see a gray cursor in top
left location of screen.

System is Intel Core i5 HD3000 laptop running FreeBSD 11 amd64 20140903
snapshot.
