Error Building libglut

configure: error: Expat required for DRI.

But expat.h exists and is readable.

[root at w16 /usr/ports/ports/graphics/libglut]# pkg_info | grep expat
expat-2.0.1_1       XML 1.0 parser written in C

Configure seems to have the right idea about $PREFIX or there would be a 
ton of other errors.  Any ideas how to proceed?

I just merged 363 a few minutes ago.
