yeap, sure: xorg-server + all it's deps (actually everything that
exposed by pkg_info -r xorg-server-1.10.4,1) were built with debugging
symbols. Also tried gdb from ports tree. It's output pretty similar ,
except legacy gdb outputs ~150 frames whereas gdb from ports 12.

tried 8.3.
As I already mentioned, unfortunately there is no exact STR how to
reproduce the issue (or at least I don't know how to reproduce it:
whenever I tried to do the same I had been doing when Xorg crashed
everything just worked). So it usually takes some time to obtain core.
However after 8.3 was applied no cores over here. Bad news: Xorg started
to freeze (again: I don't know how to reproduce it since it happens
randomly and not so often (2 times during the last 24 hours)).
It looks like bellow:
- display remains intact, neither keyboard not mice events are
recognized and there is no way to get it back working but reboot the
machine (earlier after crashes I was able "blindly" switch to another
vt, login and restart xdm).
- machine is accessible via network, so I can login, though it is
impossible to kill Xorg process (tried 3, 6, 9). It is also impossible
to attach to Xorg process. gdb hangs right after it prints it's banner)
I've collected ktrdump output. It is quite large (~500k after
compression), so I'll send it to you off-list.
Thanks!
