I've never seen or used this device so I can only offer some general
suggestions/questions.
Why do you think it's a mutouch device?
Do you have ports/x11-drivers/xf86-input-mutouch installed?
What is logged into Xorg.0.log?  Is anything logged elsewhere?
Can you increase the logging level?
