xorg ports roadmap?

As one of the people who gave you some grief last time, I _do_
appreciate the effort you put in and I would be only too happy to test
a patchset prior to the official commit.

One thing I would appreciate is a heads-up on what POLA violations have
been introduced with X.org 7.5 - a warning that Ctrl-Alt-Backspace
had been disabled and the root window changed to all-black would have
saved me a lot of hair-pulling last time.
