Could you write a book description like the other ones on publish.html ?
That would make it much simpler to add the book. Please use HTML
entities for non-ASCII characters (for Author names) so they can be
displayed correctly. You don't have to make a real patch for the
publish.sgml file, as long as the exact text that should be inserted is
there it's quite fast for the website maintainers to throw HTML around
it.
BTW. sending a PR is good idea for something like this since it reduces
the risk of the update being lost.
